This upcycled jewelry drop has been a long time in the making. It’s full of toys, glass, and found objects. The concept was inspired by two loves: vintage objects and speculative stories.

I delight in holding objects from the past. I also spend a lot of time thinking about consumerism and my work's relationship to it. Both of these traits have informed my maker journey since 2008.
Now, I’m in my mid-forties, and I love childhood memories. I have children and I care deeply about the planet we’re leaving them. So upcycling and cherishing vintage objects seemed like two ideas that fit well together.
I also like nothing better than to dive into weird art, decoding a David Lynch movie, a Frida Kahlo painting, or a Roger Dean album cover. I wanted to bring that weird magic into some wearable art.
